Underwriting Audit Manager

Responsible for providing a full range of risk, compliance, and operational underwriting audits. (business advisory and consultation services, investigations, internal controls, accountability, and use of resources).

Location : This position is full-time (40-hours / week) Remote.

Position Purpose : Oversees a full range of risk, compliance, and operational underwriting audits, including business advisory and consultation services, investigations, evaluation of internal controls, and oversight of accountability and resource utilization.

What You'll Do :

In this role, you will assist with, conduct, and administer underwriting audits for both internal and external partners' non-major medical and stop loss business. You will evaluate partner activities, prepare detailed case-level reports, and lead review processes to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and adherence to business best practices.

• Communicate with partners, monitor annual audit plan schedules and follow up on progress to meet department objectives.
• Assist or lead on-site and remote audit projects to ensure objectives are met.
• Conduct special audit requests for senior management.
• Create and review audit reports; discuss findings with partners.
• Periodic travel for audits within the U.S. will be required.
