Define and execute the technical roadmap for Core Engineering, ensuring scalability, reliability, and alignment with company goals.
Collaborate closely with other engineering team leads, product managers, and platform teams to deliver secure, scalable, and performant services.
Develop and mentor senior engineers to drive high performance and technical depth across the team.
Ensure platform reliability, observability, and availability across core systems.
Own the operational health of core systems, driving improvements in uptime, performance, and cost efficiency; help prioritize technical debt and evolve engineering practices.
Participate in hiring, onboarding, and cultivating a strong engineering culture.
You Should Have
10+ years of software engineering experience, including 6+ years in a technical leadership or engineering management role, ideally in a high-growth or cross-functional environment.
Strong hands-on experience building frontend applications using Angular and TypeScript, and backend development with Node.js and .NET (strongly preferred).

Familiarity with infrastructure as code, CI / CD pipelines, and monitoring tooling.
Demonstrated ability to lead Agile teams and implement effective SDLC practices.
Experience designing and building distributed systems, APIs, and core platform components.
Strong understanding of system design, performance optimization, and architectural trade-offs.
Familiarity with modern DevOps principles and managing applications in a cloud environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills; comfortable operating cross-functionally and influencing at all levels.
Experience with service-oriented or event-driven architecture.
Bonus
Prior experience in a startup or growth-stage environment.
Exposure to health tech, HR tech, or regulated domains.
