About the Role

The Company is seeking a Managing Director for its Business Incentives Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert written tax advice to clients, evaluating and recommending strategies to minimize tax burdens, and staying abreast of potential tax risks and changes in policy. This role involves a significant amount of research, analysis, and the development of comprehensive tax strategies. The Managing Director will also be tasked with marketing, networking, and business development, as well as maintaining and expanding key client relationships. Additionally, the role includes acting as a leader in the tax services team, providing guidance on complex tax issues, and supervising a team of tax professionals.

Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, with a Master's degree in Taxation and a Juris Doctorate preferred. A minimum of 10 years' experience in research and development tax consulting is required, along with a proven track record of supervising tax professionals. The ideal candidate will have a CPA certification or other relevant certification, and experience with corporate taxation, consolidations, and partnerships. Proficiency in tax-related software and research databases is essential. The role demands excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to manage a team, meet project deadlines, and build strong client relationships. Advanced knowledge of tax standards and the ability to interact with professionals at all levels is also necessary.
