Responsibilities

• Build daily and weekly production plans that align with customer demand plant capacity and material availability
• Adjust and revise schedules as priorities shift managing changes in demand downtime or supply chain constraints
• Communicate schedules clearly to production teams and work with them to improve efficiency and minimize changeovers
• Monitor raw material and packaging levels with the procurement team to flag shortages and avoid delays
• Track production planning KPIs and report key metrics to the scheduling manager
• Participate in daily operations meetings and help solve bottlenecks that slow output or compromise efficiency
• Assist with coverage or long-term planning efforts as a backup scheduler when needed
• Maintain alignment with food safety quality and regulatory standards
