Job descriptionMust be at least 18 years old. Valid Food Handler Certification required. At least 1 year of previous hospitality experience is preferred. Experience with large-scale food preparation is preferred. Strong cooking skills and ability to follow established menus and recipes. Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal or written). Must maintain a courteous, friendly, and professional demeanor. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (6 to 9 hours). Ability to frequently bend, kneel, reach or twist. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Reliable transportation required. Adherence to proper work attire standards and personal hygiene. As a Heart of House Team Member, you will prepare and cook food to order, following recipes and presentation standards. You’ll play a key part in delivering a memorable dining experience, while maintaining a top-notch kitchen environment. Get ready to bring your passion for food to life!
What You’ll Do :
- Prepare menu items following SMG recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food preparation procedures are consistently followed.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure proper food service.
- Assist with kitchen setup and food preparation for shifts as needed.
- Support inventory management and track food supplies.
- Adhere to all sanitation and food safety guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations and kitchen areas.
- Stay updated on new menu items and dishes.
