Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with at least one year of experience and ARRT-MRI certification for a variable 10-hour shift assignment.

Responsibilities

Position is in a medical imaging MRI unit

Utilizes Siemens MRI equipment and prefers experience with Phillips machines

Work schedule consists of 10-hour variable shifts

40 hours per week with weekend rotation and call required, both discussed during interview

No floating to other units is required

Uses Epic charting system, experience preferred

Adult patient population

Weekend technologists may work independently

Two-week orientation provided

Holiday and call expectations will be discussed during interview

Travelers are welcomed and frequently offered contract renewals

Black scrubs are required

Free parking available

First-time travelers are accepted

Requirements

One year or more of MRI technologist experience required

ARRT-MRI and BLS certifications required

Proficiency with Siemens MRI equipment is required; Phillips experience is preferred

IV skills required; pacemaker and cardiac MRI experience preferred

Epic EMR experience preferred

License required if applicable

Cannot be considered if residing within 100 miles of the facility
