Pediatric Hospitalist opening in ARLocated in Jonesboro, 70m to MemphisFull Time and Permanent PositionWe are seeking a BC / BE Pediatrician to join our growing Pediatric Hospitalist Team at a 438-bed medical center serving 23 counties in North East Arkansas. The facility includes 18 pediatric beds and a 19-bed NICU, certified as Level IIIA, with 40-50 pediatric patients admitted per month. The team is supported by a daytime nurse practitioner for newborns, a dedicated lactation team, and family medicine residents for pediatric patients.Care Responsibilities Include : Providing inpatient care to hospitalized pediatric patients and newborns.Providing backup and consultative services to a family medicine residency program with pediatric and newborn consults as needed.Offering consultative services to local community hospitals, emergency rooms (ERs), and clinics.Leading in areas of safety and quality improvement.Teaching and participating in academic responsibilities, including mentoring residents and medical students.Assisting ED physicians with admitting patients and managing other emergencies when in-house.Pediatric Hospitalist Hours : 12-hour shifts with calls from home (216 shifts per year).Compensation & Benefits : Very competitive base salary.Health, dental, and vision insurance.403b retirement plan.Malpractice coverage.Generous CME allowance.Relocation assistance.As a not-for-profit healthcare system, this position qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).If you are passionate about pediatric care and academic teaching, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a growing team while enjoying a supportive environment and competitive compensation.
