Wilson Engineers is an Arizona-based firm with a staff of more than 200 personnel specializing in water and wastewater engineering and construction management services. We are dedicated to delivering ethical, reliable, high quality services to our clients based on innovation, while sustaining a challenging and rewarding work environment for our greatest assets, our employees. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager- public infrastructure to join our team. This position requires 40 hours per week in our Las Vegas office. (This job is not remote.)


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Your Role
  • Work independently on large projects and/or assist other civil engineers as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Work on engineering designs, prepare reports, develop plans, prepare specifications, and cost estimates for various water and wastewater infrastructure projects, permitting and alternative analysis.
  • Prepare, coordinate, and monitor projects from initial conception to final completion.
  • Monitor compliance of project to ensure industry codes and practices are adhered to and performance standards met.
  • Work in a team environment with the work involving studies, detailed design and engineering services during construction.
  • Give technical direction to a team to complete design tasks and elements.

Requirements


  • Civil Engineering or Construction Management Degree
  • PE license preferred – not required
  • Minimum of eight (5) years’ experience in Public Infrastructure related design and experience with construction-related engineering services with at least (2) years of project management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience working in the Public Infrastructure field.
  • Experience with construction-related engineering services with the ability to review Shop Drawings, RFIs, issuing Engineers Directives etc.
  • Computer experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook software capabilities.
  • Online team collaboration skills essential to this position
