Position Overview

We are seeking a visionary Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to lead a rapidly growing, physician-led healthcare organization dedicated to redefining patient care through innovation, compassion, and collaboration. The CMO will serve as the strategic and clinical leader, guiding multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional, evidence-based, whole-person care.

This is an on-site leadership position based in Gillette, Wyoming. Candidates must be willing to relocate and maintain an active presence within the clinic and local community.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy

Provide strategic clinical leadership that supports the organization’s mission and vision.

Foster a culture of clinical excellence, collaboration, and innovation across all departments.

Serve as the liaison between providers, administration, and operations to align goals and performance.

Clinical Oversight

Oversee peer review, chart audits, and Grand Rounds to ensure continuous quality improvement.

Standardize and enhance evidence-based clinical workflows and care protocols.

Research & Innovation

Partner with research teams to integrate emerging clinical findings into patient care.

Support the development and expansion of the organization’s research and innovation initiatives.

Operations & Staff Development

Mentor and guide providers and clinical staff to promote professional growth and engagement.

Collaborate with operations leadership to improve patient flow, satisfaction, and outcomes.

Community & Outreach

Represent the organization within the medical community and with external partners.

Support outreach efforts to strengthen the organization’s reputation and service excellence.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

MD or DO with active medical license and board certification.

Minimum 10 years of clinical experience and at least 5 years in a healthcare leadership role.

Proven record of leading multidisciplinary teams and driving quality improvement programs.

Experience in clinical research or familiarity with FDA processes preferred.

Excellent communication, emotional intelligence, and leadership presence.

Willingness to relocate to Gillette, Wyoming, and lead on-site.
