Industrial Laborer

Temp To Full-Time

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking an Industrial Laborer for a long-term day shift role with a manufacturing company located in Beaverton OR. The person in this position will assist with sheet metal fabrication assembly inventory control and general labor tasks to support the manufacturing process.

PAY : $18-$19 / hr

INDUSTRIAL LABORER RESPONSIBILITIES :

Use measuring tools and / or machinery in order to complete production orders.

Perform various general laborer duties in precision sheet metal fabrication which may include : hardware insertion wet graining spot welding grinding forming masking or bagging of parts for shipping.

Select proper tools required for project set ups; assist in set ups.

Maintain tool inventory and alert Supervisor when supply is low

Understand and adhere to ISO compliance and other Company protocols as required

Willingness to cross-train in other manufacturing departments.

Follow all safety guidelines including wearing appropriate PPE (safety toe boots safety glasses) at all times.

Work a standard schedule of 5AM-3 : 30PM Monday through Thursday. Flexibility to work occasional over time on Fridays and / or Saturdays during high production.

INDUSTRIAL LABORER QUALIFICATIONS :

Prior industrial manufacturing experience or experience working with metal is preferred.

Ability to add subtract multiply and divide fractions and decimals.

Basic blue print reading skills.

Quality assurance skills and attention to detail to inspect your own work.

Reliable and punctual (Attendance is critical)

Able to lift and carry up to 50lbs as an essential job function.

Enjoys fast pace work environment and is able to change priorities easily and transition well from job to job.

Professional demeanor and respectful attitude towards colleagues in all situations.

Flexible and willing to help others as needs to meet production demands.
