Director, HR Business Partner (Hybrid)

Job Responsibilities

  • Partner with business leaders to understand their strategic objectives and align HR strategies to support business goals.
  • Support non-exempt and exempt employees.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness and operational efficiency, including organizational design, change management, employee relations, and succession planning.
  • Collaborate with HR team to develop and implement best practices.
  • Develop and implement strategies to foster a high-performance culture that promotes employee engagement, diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Analyze HR metrics and data to provide insights and recommendations to leaders on workforce trends, talent management strategies, and organizational health.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations and uphold ethical standards in all HR practices.

Skills Needed

  • Proven track record of partnering with leaders to drive business results through effective HR strategies and initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of HR best practices, trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Experienced with Change Management.
  • Experienced with managing employee relations matters (investigation management).
  • This role supports employees across two main sites in Austin, TX and Mountain View, CA. We also have employees who work in remote sites.
  • Travel is required for this role.
  • Educational Requirements & Work Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 8-10 years of progressive experience in HR as an HR business partner / generalist.
  • This position has an estimated base salary of $170,000 - $215,000, a cash bonus, and stock options.
