What You Will Do :
Monitor and assess patient conditions upon admission and throughout each shift, reporting any changes promptly.Administer prescribed procedures and medications, documenting care in the patient medical record accurately and timely.Act as a patient advocate, ensuring the best possible care and experience for each individual.Maintain proficiency with relevant medications, procedures, and equipment necessary for cardiac and surgical patients.Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor of Science in Nursing required; must enroll in BSN program within 5 years for those hired into the RN position.Licensure : Current North Carolina RN License (eNLC may apply); must maintain BLS and ACLS certifications.Experience : A minimum of one year nursing experience is required.At Mission Hospital, located in Asheville, North Carolina, we are the region's primary center for advanced medical care, holding an 853-bed capacity and recognized for our exceptional services, including trauma and stroke care.
