Our unit, Rexnord Aerospace, caters to the commercial air transport sector with high-specification products like spherical and cylindrical bearings, mechanical seals, and more, serving eminent engine and airframe manufacturers globally.

Role Overview : In this role, you'll be setting up and operating diverse CNC machine tools for tasks such as turning, drilling, and welding to craft precision components within a work-cell setting. It's vital to adhere to safety and quality protocols and maintain an organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities :

• Interpret and execute from process sheets, blueprints, and machine status boards.
• Expertly make and adjust chuck jaws.
• Install tooling in machine turrets accurately.
• Utilize hand and manual tools as required.
• Perform efficient machine setups and make programming tweaks.
• Aim for precision with a variety of CNC operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues.
• Possibly train and guide junior machinists.
• Calibrate preset gauges thoroughly.
• Coordinate with supervisors and support teams for problem-solving.
• Ensure quality and accuracy in personal and team outputs, fulfilling documentation needs.
• Engage in rotating duties across departments and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Data entry in ERP systems and handling parts up to 25 lbs.
