Ironwood Veterinary Clinic in Yuma,\nArizona seeks an experienced FT Associate Veterinarian to\njoin our busy practice.
We have been voted ‘Yuma’s Best Veterinary Clinic, providing\nprogressive medicine, surgery, and dentistry for dogs and cats. Our clientele are loyal and friendly, as is our\nexperienced staff. Our clinic features digital radiology, including\ndigital dental x-ray, ultrasound, Ultra-sonic dental equipment, isoflurane\nanesthesia, a fully-equipped surgical suite with electrocautery, and AVIMark.

Job Responsibilities
Builds rapport with clients by gathering\ninformation and listening to, and empathizing with their concernsPerforms physical examinations and\ndiagnostic / medical / surgical / dental procedures that deliver the highest quality\ncare while minimizing patient stress and discomfortCommunicates with clients on topics such as pet\ndiagnosis, treatment plans, preventive health care, and nutritional needsMaintains client / patient medical / surgical\nrecords and makes certain all necessary logs are kept up-to-date through\nestablished protocolsStays current on new medical information and\nchanges in veterinary medicineAssists in the development of the\nparaprofessional team to ensure delivery of the highest quality care and\nexceptional client servicePresents a positive image of the hospital in the\nprofessional community and to the general publicSkills and Basic Qualifications

Candidate must be a graduate from an AVMA accredited\n college or have successfully passed the ECFVG certification program or the\n PAVE certification programLicensure in good standing to practice in the state of Arizona (or in the state where currently licensed)Commitment to practicing the highest standard of veterinary medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethicsAbout Yuma
