Position Description :

Dignity Health Medical Group is actively seeking a Board-Certified General Cardiologist for a 100% outpatient locum tenens opportunity in Redding, California . Enjoy a flexible and supportive environment while providing essential care in a welcoming community with beautiful Northern California surroundings.

This is a full-time, weekday-only role from November to January , with the option for two physicians to split the schedule (e.g., two weeks on / off per month).

Position Details :

Schedule :

Monday–Thursday : 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM

Friday : 8 : 00 AM – 12 : 00 PM

• Patient Volume : Avg. 20 patients / day
• Setting : 100% Outpatient
• No procedures, no hospital admissions
• EMR : Cerner
• Support Staff : RN, MA, Clinic Supervisor

Job Requirements

Requirements :

• Board Certified in Cardiology (No BE)
• Active California Medical License
• Graduated from a US / Canadian, ACGME or RCPSC-accredited Cardiology Fellowship
• Clean malpractice history preferred (will consider candidates with dismissed claims only)
• Available for full-time or partial coverage (2 weeks / month)

Benefits

Compensation & Benefits :

• Hourly Rate : $310 / hr
• Holiday Rate : $465 / hr
• Orientation Rate : $115 / hr (after 8 hours)
• Credentialing Timeframe : 60–90 days (Foundation privileges only)
