Refund Specialist

A company is looking for a Refund Specialist who will focus on reviewing and printing patient and insurance refunds.

Key Responsibilities

Review and print accounts that are in a credit balance for multiple practices

Export refund check registers and submit to accounting

Research and resolve accounts that are in a credit balance and handle incoming returned checks

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED highly preferred

3+ years of relevant experience highly preferred

In-depth knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer reimbursement policies and procedures
