Location : Lawrence, MA (01841) – Massachusetts nursing jobs

Healthcare Setting : Operating Room / Surgical Services

Assignment Type : Travel Nurse Contract

Start Date : November 25, 2025 (Orientation : 11 / 25 or 12 / 9)

End Date : February 23, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 10-hour day shifts (10 : 00 AM – 8 : 00 PM), 4 days / week

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours / week

Electronic Medical Record : Meditech

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license (Registered Nurse)

CNOR certification required

Minimum 2 years of perioperative and surgical management experience

Proven experience as Nurse Manager, Nursing Supervisor, or Charge RN

Ability to provide on-call coverage for all surgical specialties

Strong clinical skills in orthopedic trauma and total joint procedures

Experience with vascular, GYN, general, colorectal, ENT, urology, bariatrics, spine, and trauma cases

Operating Room Nurse Manager Responsibilities

Lead and ensure optimal efficiency in daily surgical services operations

Evaluate and adjust daily schedule and staffing plans for clinical support

Respond to schedule changes, including add-on and late-running cases

Collaborate with anesthesia, surgeons, and department chiefs to maintain safe patient care and departmental efficiency

Drive optimal clinical performance and patient outcomes

Provide on-call support for multiple surgical specialties

Demonstrate leadership in managing complex cases and resource allocation
