PCU Travel Nurse Job Details

Location : Jeffersonville, IN 47130 (Indiana healthcare jobs)

Unit : Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Assignment Type : Travel RN contract

Start Date : November 23, 2025

End Date : February 28, 2026

Contract Duration : 14 weeks

Shift : Night shifts, 12 hours each

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Open Positions : 3 PCU RN jobs

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1930 - $1980

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Indiana or compact state)

Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience

BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required

Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN)

Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

PCU RN Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing reassessments in the Progressive Care Unit

Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Monitor, document, and evaluate patient responses to nursing interventions

Educate patients and families on care, treatment, and discharge planning

Delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed clinical support staff; serve as mentor and preceptor

Promote teamwork and participate in healthcare quality, safety, and service improvement initiatives

Comply with regulatory standards and participate in Practice Governance
