Consultant Network Engineer
DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES : * Ensuring that new infrastructure products are implemented in accordance with agency requirements and industry best practices* Network security including proper configuration measures prior to device deployment as well as retroactively on production systems in accordance with MARS-E standards* Reviewing configurations on existing network infrastructure* Review and change as needed existing network infrastructure* Troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure issues with guidance on resolving end-user issues* Knowledge transfer to existing staff* Network infrastructure documentation* Assist with daily operations on infrastructure management*Lead migration efforts of on-premise infrastructure to AWS / Aure Cloud*Lead and assist with network redesign in AWS cloud*Configure and maintain network firewalls and transit gateways in AWSREQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE) : EXPERIENCE DESIGNING AND MAINTAINING NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE IN AWS / AZUREEXPERIENCE WITH IP ADDRESS MANAGEMENTEXPERIENCE DEPLOYING, CONFIGURING AND MAINTAINING CLOUD VM SERIES PALO ALTO FIREWALLS IN AWS5-7 YEARS NETWORK EXPERIENCECISCO ROUTERS / SWITCHESPALO ALTO FIREWALLSF5 LOAD BALANCING / FIREWALLMERAKI WIRELESS ACCESS POINTSPREFERRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE) : PRISMA CLOUDINFOBLOX DNS / DHCPFORESCOUT, ClientVMWARE VSPHEREVMWARE NSXCISCO UMBRELLAREQUIRED EDUCATION : BACHELOR'S DEGREE OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE.
