Hours Per Week : 40hrs

Schedule : Monday-Friday 7 : 00a-5 : 30pm, 4 shifts per week. Call is required - no more than 12 call shifts per month.

SUMMARY :

Join our dynamic team as you perform vital roles both as a Radiologic Technologist and a Special Procedures Technologist in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment within Interventional & Imaging Services.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Deliver high-quality imaging services as a radiologic technologist, prioritizing tasks effectively, confirming patient identity, and providing necessary information to radiologists for accurate interpretation.
• Conduct special procedures including angiography, cardiac catheterizations, and more, ensuring the highest standards of care and patient safety.
• Utilize the ALARA principle to minimize radiation exposure while maintaining high-quality images.
• Assist physicians during sterile procedures and in immediate post-operative care, contributing to the overall patient journey.
• Engage in continuous learning and improvement through additional responsibilities and teamwork.

RT(R) - Registered Radiologic Technologist - New York State Education Department (NYSED)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and / or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and / or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing, or squatting.
