The Assistant Director of Maintenance supports the daily operations of campus facilities by performing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks. This position helps ensure that all school buildings, grounds, and equipment are safe, functional, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem-solver with strong technical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with members of the school community.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair of school buildings, facilities, and equipment.
• Conduct minor plumbing services.
• Install, repair, and maintain door locks, closers, and other commercial hardware.
• Complete painting, carpentry, and basic electrical work as needed.
• Operate maintenance equipment.
• Assist with event setup, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs.
• Maintain an organized workspace and keep accurate records of maintenance activities.
• Uphold safety standards and respond promptly to maintenance requests.
