FIREMEDIC (Firefighter / Paramedic) salary is $61,743.74 annually, which includes F.L.S.A. Once Paramedic solo status is obtained, the salary increases to $64,888.02. Additional monetary incentives may apply. Typically shift work : 24 hours on / 48 hours off. Performs experienced protective service work controlling, extinguishing, and preventing fires, and performing Advanced Life Support (ALS) at emergency scenes.

REQUIREMENTS : Must possess on thedate of written testing ,a valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) card from an approved agency PLUS a valid State of Florida Paramedic certification and both certifications must be maintained during the term of employment. Applicants must possess on the date of written testing aFlorida State Fire Fighter Certificate of Compliance or Letter of Completion from the State of Florida Bureau of Fire Standards and Training. Must possess a valid Florida Driver's license and maintain said license during the term of employment.
