An expanding Chemical Dependency Inpatient facility located in Brooklyn NY, 11212 is seeking to hire a RN Supervisor. The Registered Nurse coordinates provision of nursing services that reflect the nursing philosophy and standards according to the companies policies and procedures.
Schedule :
Overnight and Day shifts available!
Duties include :
- Assists staff to identify patient problems and effectively utilize other members of the health team to solve them.
- Identifies learning needs of staff.
- Assesses the changing needs of the patients during the shift and adjusts in assignments as appropriate.
- Train / Oversee nursing staff
- Facilitate daily staff huddles
- Implement and assists staff in patient teaching programs based on specific patient needs.
Requirements
Requirements :
- Current Registered Nurse registration with the New York State.
- A minimum of two years' experience in nursing.
- Experience in substance abuse and / or mental health fields preferred.
- Supervisory experience a must
