Tax Technology Associate

As a Tax Technology Associate, you'll play a key role in enhancing tax operations through the use of technology. This is an exciting opportunity to drive efficiency, ensure compliance, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our tax processes. The Tax Technology and Data team at Walmart drives innovation by integrating advanced tools and systems into our global tax operations. We collaborate across departments to streamline processes, ensure compliance, and deliver data-driven insights that support strategic decision-making. This role plays a vital part in enhancing operational efficiency and enabling Walmart to meet its complex tax obligations at scale.

What you'll do...

• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for tax technology solutions.
• Leverage tools like Alteryx, Power BI, and SQL to analyze large datasets and identify opportunities to streamline tax processes.
• Support the implementation and optimization of tax software applications to enhance compliance and operational efficiency.
• Monitor and evaluate tax technology performance, recommending enhancements to improve accuracy, scalability, and user experience.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include stock.
