PEMB Design Engineer

Dean Steel Buildings, Inc is seeking a professional engineer with metal building systems (PEMB) experience to join our family. The position is in-house at the manufacturing facility. Responsibilities Design metal building systems (PEMB) using MBS software. Basic cadd knowledge. Ability to review other's work for compliance to contract requirements. Collaborate with sales personnel and clients to ensure design meets project requirements and specifications. Perform engineering calculations and reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards and codes. Qualifications BS in Civil or Structural. Minimum of 5 years of experience metal building systems design. PE or SE in southeastern US states or the ability to get reciprocity. Proficiency with MBS (Metal Building Software). Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and applicable codes. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
