About The Position

Certifications : ARRT or RCIS registered, BLS

Must-Have : Cath lab experience

Experience in left heart catheterizations, stent placements, ICDs, and pacemakers

Description :

The position is for a Cath Lab Technologist in a cardiac environment.

Candidates must hold valid certifications in ARRT or RCIS and BLS.

Work involves no clinical involvement during 1-2 nights per week.

One weekend of call duty is required each month.

Holidays will also require rotating call coverage.

Call responsibilities will span across multiple campuses.

The candidate must reside within a specific radius to ensure timely response.

Daily duties include assistance to the physician during procedures, monitoring, and documentation.

The average number of procedures is 1-3 cases per day.

Common patient diagnoses include CAD, AMI, and both inpatient and outpatient adults.

Technologists may need to float to other locations as required.

Hospital-supplied scrubs will be provided for uniformity.

A supervisor will be present in the lab during each shift.

Self-scheduling is allowed to a degree for on-call duties.

The response time for call coverage is expected to be within 30 minutes.

Each campus will require 1-3 days of orientation for familiarity.

Familiarity with electronic medical record systems such as EPIC and various cath lab equipment is desirable.
