Position : Maintenance Mechanic

Location : Stockton, CA

Wage : $31.02 + $0.40 for 2nd shift premium

Shift : 2nd- 3 : 30 PM 2 AM - Monday- Thursday *overtime may be required

While reporting to the Maintenance Manager the Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing support functions for

maintenance operations, helping with troubleshooting equipment and process issues.

What You’ll Be Doing :

• Schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance and service for each piece of equipment.
• Inspect machines regularly for signs of malfunctions including visual and sound inspections.
• Use a variety of power and hand tools to perform job functions.
• Complete repairs and parts replacements.
• Repair, install, adjust, or maintain machines and or vehicles.
• Install, assemble, and test new machines and equipment.
• Work effectively in a loud environment.
• Complete written record of work performed skills :
• Profound knowledge of welders, grinders, drills, and general shop equipment.
• Ability to weld and fabricate, MIG and ARC.
• Good understanding of bearings, rollers, shafts, and chain drive components.
• Basic lathe and mill knowledge.
• Basic understanding of low and high voltage circuitry.
• Ability to install / bend conduit and pull wire.
• Understands proximity and optical sensors and amplifiers.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrates basic mathematic skills.
• Ability to act competently in emergent situations and possess problem solving skills.
• Maintains welding equipment for optimum performance.
• Monitors welding supplied and inventory.

We’d love to hear from you if :

• Have 3-5 Years of Fabrication / Welding and Manufacturing / Industrial Maintenance experience.
• Successful trade of vocational school completion and or / Associates degree in mechanical, electrical or engineering specialties (Preferred)
• Valid CA Drivers License
• Bilingual Spanish (Preferred)
• Mechanically inclined with great problem-solving skills.
• Works well independently and with others and has good communication skills.
• Organized with attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Able to bend, stretch, push, pull and move as needed to reach, clean and service machinery.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
