Where you will work : This position will be based in Astounds Rocklin, CA and Sacramento, CA locations

A Day in the Life of the Construction Technician :

• Perform construction work including coaxial placement, splicing, MDU work including the placement of molding and drop cable, and underground work including service tie-ins.
• Assist in construction projects including relocations, new developments, MDUs, commercial and residential projects.
• Perform all work as necessary to conform to quality control guidelines (includes compliance with requirements outlined in applicable regulations such as : OSHA, FCC, and NEC, etc. and following procedures as outlined in the Installation, Technical, Operations, and Safety Manuals, and Employee Handbook).
• Experience with and ability to establish traffic control setups for various lane configuration scenarios as necessary to complete job responsibilities.
• Familiarity with and experience using utility locating devices.
• Hands on experience related to various construction functions including cable and molding placement, splicing, conduit placement asphalt, concrete and grass restoration.
• Experience with and the ability to read industry standard mapping such as AutoCAD and GIS.
• Familiarity with basic computer skills such as Microsoft Excel, Word and

Google.

Base Salary : The base salary range in California for this position is $20.00- $30.87 (per hour), plus opportunities for bonus, benefits and commission, if applicable. The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and capabilities. It is specific to California and may not be applicable to other locations.

Construction Technician 1- $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

Construction Technician 2- $21.00 - $29.40 per hour

Construction Technician 3- $22.05 - $30.87 per hour
