Responsibilities include performing surgical pathology, cytopathology, and participating in on-call duties without weekend or holiday shifts. The role is a full-time locum tenens assignment with weekly pay of $5800.

We are working with the Department of Veteran Affairs who is currently searching for a Board Certified Pathologist to provide Anatomic and Clinical Pathology services for a 6 month Locum Tenens assignment. Please see below for additional information :

• Needed ASAP - Looking for a Pathologist who could be available for a 1 / 04 / 23 Start date .
• Location : New Orleans, LA.
• Job Responsibilities : Pathologist shall provide Anatomical pathology duties such as : Surgical Pathology, Cytopathology (Excluding GYN-Pathology), Frozen sections, Participate in ON - call rotation (Home call) with Staff Pathologists.
• Schedule : Monday - Friday 40 hours a week.
• No weekends, No holidays
• Board certification in The American Board of Pathology required.
• Must have an active Pathology MD / DO license in the state of Louisiana.
• Must have an active and unrestricted DEA and BLS certification.
• Weekly Pay, Paid every Friday $5800 a week.
