About The Position

We are seeking Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians for an ongoing locum assignment in Dickinson, ND . This is a high-priority opportunity offering strong support staff, a manageable patient load, and full travel coverage.

Assignment Dates : Ongoing coverage – multiple open dates starting December 21, 2024

Shifts : 12-hour Day (7a–7p) & Night (7p–7a) rotations

Schedule : 2 physicians per 24 hours + APP support (10a–10p)

Patient Volume : ~1.5 patients / hour

EMR : Meditech

Job Responsibilities

Full-scope Emergency Medicine : airway management, intubations, chest tubes, central lines, critical care, OB / GYN and deliveries, pediatric / adult resuscitation, and procedural sedation

Participate in trauma and acute care stabilization

Work collaboratively with APPs and hospital staff

Deliver safe, efficient emergency care for all ages

Job Requirements

Board Certified (ABEM only) – Required

Active ND license or IMLC – Preferred

ACLS, ATLS, PALS – Required

CDS Certification & DEA Registration – Required

Must have 250+ recent case logs in the past year

Must be comfortable managing all emergency procedures
