Structural Engineering Manager - Transportation / Bridge

Our Lexington office is seeking a highly experienced Structural Section Head to lead the structural engineering department. This senior-level role is responsible for driving business development, managing departmental staff, ensuring financial success, and maintaining technical excellence. Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and execute strategic growth plans in collaboration with office managers and practice leaders
• Establish and expand the companys market presence through marketing initiatives and business development activities
• Manage the departmental budget and allocate resources effectively
• Lead proposal production and contribute to high-quality project deliverables
• Serve as a technical resource and mentor for project managers and engineering staff
• Determine staffing needs and lead the hiring process for the section
• Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing leadership, coaching, and development to team members
• Support team growth by setting expectations, providing feedback, and fostering professional development
