About The Position

Job Title : Respiratory Care Therapist

Profession : Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics

Specialty : CRT

Duration : 13 Weeks

Shift : Mid

Hours per Shift : 8 Hours (14 : 45 - 23 : 15); 12 Hours (14 : 45 - 03 : 15)

Experience : Minimum 3 years preferred, including at least one year in a large Level 1 Trauma, Academic Medical Center.

License : NE State License preferred

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, CRT required; RRT preferred

Must-Have :

NE State License in hand preferred

ACLS, BLS certifications required

CRT certification required; RRT preferred

Epic charting experience preferred

First-time travelers accepted

Level 1 Trauma experience required

Description :

Licensing is taking 6-8 weeks.

Start dates will be adjusted accordingly.

Must have at least applied for the necessary license at time of submission.

All applicants must provide proof of licensing within 48 hours.

Tracking is required for licensing applications.

Candidates should have skills in adult critical care, BiPAP, CPAP, and tracheostomy care.

Experience with emergency department procedures and interpretation of arterial blood gases is essential.

Candidates should be able to troubleshoot high pressure alarms.

Weaning from mechanical ventilation is also a necessary skill.

A complete understanding of oral airway placement and oral / nasal suctioning is required.

This facility is 100% nicotine-free.

Travelers must follow the nicotine policy.

Additional compliance documents are required before starting.

Travelers must attend a mandatory charting class unless otherwise specified.

Weekend shifts required are four out of eight possible in a four-week period.

Requested time off must be included at the time of submission.

Any changes to time-off requests post-confirmation may be denied.
