Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist with at least 24 months of experience for a locum assignment starting May 2025.

Position Details :

Duration : Ongoing, 6 12 months (minimum 7 days / month)

Schedule : On-site : 7 : 30 AM 4 : 30 PM

24-hour call : In-house (day), pager (night, 30-min response)

Setting : Inpatient with full hospital support staff

Patient Mix : 95% adult, 5% pediatrics

Case Load : Average of 7 admissions per call shift

Responsibilities : Rounding, consultations, procedures, follow-ups, discharges, and night call coverage

Required Procedures : Colonoscopy, EGD, PEGs, Esophageal Varices & Stenting, including ERCPs

Additional Information :

Charting System : EPIC

Certifications : BLS required

Licensure : Willing to wait for licensure

Credentialing : 60 days
