Internal Occupational Health Manager

Job Description

Under the direction of the medical director and occupational health leadership team, the Internal Occupational Health Manager leads a multidimensional team of occupational health nurses, licensed practical nurses, medical assistants and office assistants at multiple sites / hospitals in the delivery of integrated occupational health services to the staff of Froedtert & Medical College of Wisconsin. This individual will be responsible for assuring the effective and efficient coordination of department functions including pre-placement physicals, medical surveillance, work injury care, exposure follow up, and other staff-related health and safety programs. This position is responsible for the development of and adherence to department budgets and is accountable for process improvement strategies.

EXPERIENCE :

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in occupational health or other comparable experience is required
• Experience in a leadership role is required
