Shipping Coordinator (Jersey City)

As a Shipping Coordinator you will be part of a fast-paced, growing vintage luxury company. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Shipping, you will be responsible for scheduling carriers, resolving problems concerning transportation and logistics, entering information into the ERP / EDI system and working with our Wholesale department to resolve customer issues

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Create Export Documents for Overseas Shipments such as Custom Invoices, NAFTA, Commercial Invoices / Pro Forma, and Declaration.
• Troubleshoot issues and ensure there is consistency among all data sources between merchant, vendor, operations, warehouses, and inventory management systems
• Schedule trucks for pickup appointments upon customer request.
• Assist with tracking shipments and providing promptly communicate regarding service issues
• identify issues and update teams on shipment progress
• Print necessary shipping documents such as Bill of Ladings, P.O.D.s, and Master Bills.
• Assist in reconciling inventory and customer shipping discrepancies.
• Help load / unload trucks.
• Order shipping supplies when needed.
• Responsible for ensuring all transactions are recorded on a daily basis

Qualifications :

College degree preferred
