Product Development Engineer (Pump)

Summary :

As a Product Development Engineer at HME, you'll drive a broad spectrum of design, manufacturing, testing, validation, and quality engineering - on a consistent basis - and as a manufacturer of emergency vehicles you will find more purpose in your work. Essential Duties Responsibilities

• Using SolidWorks, design components for heavy trucks that are safe and robust, in a timely manner, while also being cost-effective, easy to manufacture, and stylistic.
• Collaborate with third parties to integrate industry-standard components into custom, purpose-built firetrucks.
• Read and interpret vehicle specifications.
• Identify and correct specification errors from Line Process Requests (LPRs) to ensure the accuracy and reliability of designs.
• Support Production, Sales, Purchasing, Warranty, and Customer Service departments as a subject matter expert as related to Engineering.
