Position Overview
As a Respiratory Therapist, you will deliver critical respiratory care and support across various inpatient settings. You'll work alongside physicians, nurses, and fellow therapists to assess, treat, and monitor patients with cardiopulmonary disorders.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer a full range of respiratory therapy treatments including oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and mechanical ventilation
- Monitor and assess patient response to therapy; adjust treatment plans accordingly
- Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, including ventilators and BiPAP / CPAP units
- Participate in emergency response situations, including airway management and code blue support
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Educate patients and families on respiratory care plans when appropriate
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive, high-quality care

Required Credentials
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRCCompletion of an accredited respiratory therapy program (Associate's or Bachelor's)Valid Florida Respiratory Care Practitioner license or eligibility to obtain before hireCurrent BLS certificationACLS , PALS , and / or NRP preferred or must be obtained within a designated timeframeExperience
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferredNew graduates with strong clinical rotations are welcome to apply
