• Please note : In fall 2026, the Pennsylvania Psychiatric Institute is relocating inpatient services in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to Holy Spirit Medical Center in Camp Hill. Our team is working closely with the Holy Spirit Medical Center Behavioral Health team and the Penn State Health Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health to ensure a smooth and coordinated transition .

SUMMARY OF POSITION :

The Licensed Practical Nurse is an essential member of the health care team who performs a variety of direct and non-direct patient care activities. As a team member, participates in planning, implementing, and evaluating care for each patient and family under the supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S) :

Currently licensed to practice as a licensed practical nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate LPN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact or eligible for licensure in state of employment.

One (1) year of LPN experience.

AHA BLS obtained prior to the end of orientation.

Non-Violent Crisis Prevention and Intervention Training prior to the end of orientation

PA Act 31 Child Abuse Training Certificate.
