ABA Behavior Technician / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Location : Durham, NC 27703

Schedule : Monday–Friday, 9 : 00 AM–5 : 00 PM (option to split between two technicians)

Pay : $18–$21 / hr (BT) | $21–$26 / hr (RBT)

Autism Center of Excellence is hiring an ABA Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide one-on-one, in-home therapy for a high-needs child. This role is ideal for someone skilled, compassionate, and committed to delivering high-quality ABA services.

We are hiring immediately for consistent, Monday–Friday hours.

What You’ll Do

• Provide 1 : 1 ABA therapy following treatment plans created by a BCBA
• Implement proactive and reactive behavior intervention strategies
• Collect accurate session and behavior data using electronic platforms
• Support communication, independence, and skill development goals
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and strong rapport with families

Requirements

Previous experience as a Behavior Technician, ABA Therapist, RBT, or in a similar role supporting children with autism or developmental needs RBT certification preferred (or willingness to obtain and maintain certification) Strong skills in data collection, documentation, and communication Reliable transportation and consistent attendance Dedication to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care
