Who we are looking for :

The best leaders... who also happen to be licensed Nurse Practitioners (NP, ARNP, FNP, APRN) and Physician Assistants (PA-C)

What winning looks like :

• Lead and develop collaborative multidisciplinary wound care teams
• Travel to scheduled locations weekly for wound rounds and house calls, in an assigned region
• Provide the highest quality skin and wound care services to patients
• Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic studies to assess change to patients' health care needs
• Perform bedside wound care skills including : wound assessment, dressing application, pressure relief, pain / odor control, and minor surgical procedures
• Track the progress of wound healing and document timely in UWH's own wound care EMR
• Develop a treatment plan for skin and wound conditions based on the individual needs of each patient, and UWH's Clinical Practice Guidelines
• Collaborate virtually with our medical leadership including board certified physicians and surgeons specializing in wound care, dermatology, podiatry, vascular surgery, and infectious disease

Skills required for winning :

Compensation Range : $128,000.00 - $140,000.00 DOE with bonus potential (1.0FTE range)

This position is classified as : Salary, Exempt; Full-Time or Part-Time employment

Hours : Typical hours areMonday through Friday; 6 : 00am - 3 : 00pm, no nights, weekends, or call

Benefits :

Medical / Dental / Orthodontic / Vison / RX - minimum 80% towards employee monthly premiums covered, dependent coverage available at employee's expense

Accruals up to 172 hours (21.5 days) your first year of employment based on 1.0FTE status.
