Responsibilities
Compression Operation Molding, Finishing and Packaging Equipment
Determine cause of equipment problems and correct
Repair / Replace equipment as needed to maintain effective operations
Analyze and solve productivity issues
Instruct others in set-up and monitoring of equipment
Perform assigned P.M. functions
Adhere to work instructions to insure safe and efficient operation of equipment.
Monitor, Inspect, and Package Product
Take corrective action, as appropriate, to maintain / improve the product quality
Inspect product as necessary to insure quality
Prepare, Train and Utilize product quality control plans to insure quality product is being produced
Follow good manufacturing practices
Relieve other personnel as assigned
Other Duties as Assigned (including but not limited to)
Participate in daily team meetings
Contribute / implement ideas to improve operation performance
Perform miscellaneous projects and data collection tasks
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalency
Read, write and speak English
Past experience / proven ability
Pass Technical Exam
Preferred Skills :
Precision measurement instrument use
Blue Print reading
Basic Electrical Troubleshooting skills
Mechanically minded
