PATIENT CARE COORDINATOR II - CLINICAL NEUROSCI CTR - Full Time (Day - 08 hrs)
Stanford Health Care is looking for Patient Care Coordinators (PCC / Medical Assistants) to be part of our strong team environment. A PCC works as the point person navigating the patients from every discipline through their clinic visit at Stanford Health Care. They work closely with other team members in different departments to provide quality patient care.
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with patients and helping them obtain the care they need. Our team members are cross trained to work in multiple roles from front desk to back office. A few responsibilities the PCC will be assisting with are rooming patients, checking patients in and out, scheduling follow-up appointments, setting up procedural areas, assisting providers during procedures, managing providers schedules and ensuring timely communication between the patient and the provider by responding to patient messages.

A Brief Overview
As a foundational level, the PCC II, is expected to learn and apply job skills, policies, and procedures to complete moderate assignments and tasks. They should exercise judgment within defined guidelines to determine appropriate actions. The PCC II responsible for facilitating smooth day-to-day clinic operations while developing the necessary skills to progress within our care delivery team.

2) Completion of medical assistant training by a licensed physician or podiatrist
3) Certification as medical assistant through a Medical Board of California - approved medical assistant certifying organization

Base Pay Scale : Generally starting at $32.72 - $36.83 per hour
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
