We currently have an exciting opportunity as a Machine Operator. This role is based in our facility in Lynchburg Virginia and reports to the Production Supervisor. The work schedule is a 12 hour day shift from 7am until 7pm on a 2-2-3 continental schedule.

Job Summary

We are seeking an upbeat individual who will be responsible to ensures that the final product aligns with the companys quality standards which includes the reliability usability and performance of the general these meticulous professionals are accountable for using tools to perform checks to ensure quality standards are met and the equipment is running accurately!

Principal Responsibilities

• Carry out production inspection packaging and machine operation duties.
• Efficiently supervise production equipment.
• Perform quality control checks follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures and report problems to supervisor.
• Perform quality checks using micrometers calibers and tape measures.
• Package pipe in accurate pallet sizes and quantities and document production.
• Use basic hand tools and operate forklift.
• Identify transfer and load material for production.
• Inspect and report potential unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment while adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
• Must be eager to learn excited to work on a team and have good written and verbal communication skills.
• Other duties as the need arises and / or assigned.
