What You'll Do Provide customer service to residents and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential community and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior. Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, hazards, or property damage within the location. Assist residents and guests with inquiries and provide directions or information as requested. Work closely with Allied Universal management and local authorities as required for security-related matters. Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly as part of daily duties. Minimum Requirements At least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience is required. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
