LVN-Licensed Vocational Nurse

Valid California LVN License - Graduation from an accredited vocational nursing program or junior college required 4. Current DMV printout - can be obtained on DMV website (MUST be no greater than 30 days old) - please see link on right hand side for CA DMV Printout website 5. Typing Test : adjusted / net speed 40wpm minimum on a 3-5 minute test (results must show name, WPM results and length of test) - online tests accepted 6. Valid ADULT / PEDIATRIC First Aid and CPR Certification required : NO online courses; NO BLS (basic life support) cards, MUST include Pediatric (Child) training

• can upload proof of registration in an upcoming, in-person CPR / First Aid class in lieu of card Preferred Qualifications : 1. Bachelor's Degree preferred 2. Two (2) years nursing experience in a public health setting preferred. 3. Experience working with children with special needs in a school setting preferred.

REQUIRED UPON HIRE : 1. Certificate stating freedom from tuberculosis 2. Valid California Driver's license 3. Valid Social Security Card or acceptable alternative 4. Candidates selected for appointment are required to be fingerprinted in our office at the employee's expense and must receive DOJ and FBI clearance before beginning work.
