Certified Coding Specialist

A company is looking for a Coding & RCM Specialist to support accurate coding and claims submission in a complex Medicaid and managed-care environment.

Key Responsibilities

Own CPT / ICD-10 coding and strategy across psychiatry and medication management, focusing on high-acuity patient populations

Perform pre-bill and post-pay audits and review clinical documentation to ensure clean claim submission

Collaborate with billing team members to resolve claim issues and ensure compliance with coding standards

Required Qualifications

Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification

3-5 years of professional experience in medical coding and billing, preferably in behavioral health

Advanced proficiency with ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems

Strong understanding of HIPAA and healthcare compliance guidelines

Experience with EHR systems and medical billing software
