Job Details :

Full-time position, requiring 3 shifts per week with every other weekend.
No block scheduling accommodated.
COOK IS A MANDATORY FLOAT FACILITY : All resources are required to float at the facility's discretion.

Job Summary :

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Nurse Assistant to join our Emergency Room team at our facility located in Chicago, IL. The chosen candidate will work within the Emergency Services unit and provide essential support to our healthcare team during night shifts. This position offers a 3x12-hour shift schedule, with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities :

Assist nursing staff in the delivery of patient care services within the Emergency Room setting.

Provide basic patient care, including bathing, feeding, toileting, and ambulation, under the direction of registered nurses.

Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the nursing team.

Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.

Maintain a clean and organized patient care environment.

Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Qualifications :

Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Nurse Assistant in the state of Illinois.

Previous experience in an Emergency Room or acute care setting preferred.

BLS certification required.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Flexibility to work night shifts and weekends as required .
