Professional, experienced Service Advisor needed to join our elite team at Sunset Kia of Venice , a proud member of Sunset Automotive Group's family of dealerships with 10 brands at 11 locations in Sarasota and Manatee counties .

Experience advising automotive service customers and developing relationships with new and existing customers required. Reynolds & Reynolds and x-time experience very helpful.

Automotive Service Advisor Duties

Service Advisors are the faces of our dealership service departments to our valued clients. It is vital for a person in this position to have great communication skills as well as solid automotive knowledge in order to adequately relay service needs between our clients and our service team. As a service advisor, you will be doing the following :

• As the point of contact for automotive service customers, show outstanding customer service.
• Use active listening to engage and understand the customer's vehicle issues and concerns.
• Create repair order and communicate vehicle needs clearly to service technician.
• Communicate vehicle diagnoses and maintenance needs to customer. Advise and sell needed work.
• Follow up on vehicles throughout the repair process, keeping customer updated.
• Interact with customers, vendors, and technicians in a professional manner at all times.
