Job Title : Cath Lab Tech

Certifications : ACLS, ARRT R, BLS, CCI RCIS preferred, Fluoro Permit

Must-Have :

• RCIS preferred for a traveler
• Cerner charting experience required
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Description :

Position available for Cath Lab Tech.

Start time would either be 6 AM or 7 AM.

Shifts are 4x10s or 5x8s.

Call requirements include every third weekend and 1-2 days per week for late or call shifts.

Only call is required on weekends.

Holiday call requirement is also applicable.

Travelers are permitted to call off twice per assignment.

This policy mirrors the facility's ability to cancel a traveler's shift up to two times without penalty.

If a traveler calls off a third time, the unit manager will determine whether to end the contract early or provide coaching on attendance expectations.

Average daily caseload is 12.

First-timers are accepted.

Daily procedures include diagnostic heart catheterizations, percutaneous coronary interventions, and electrophysiology evaluations.

Interdisciplinary support is available within the unit.

Patient demographics include adults and geriatrics.

Floating to other departments may be required if proficient in interventional radiology.

The number of rooms available in the unit is three.

Candidates must complete necessary certifications before starting.

Background checks will be conducted as a requirement.

Travelers need to complete up to 8 hours of modules within one week of signing.

The unit emphasizes professional conduct, with serious consequences for violations.
