Cardiac catheterizations

Percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) and related interventional procedures

Cath Lab procedures for inpatients

STEMI auto-accept program coverage

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses : Active Illinois license required (IMLC not accepted)

Board : Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology

DEA : Active DEA Certification required

Certifications : ACLS, CSR License

Experience : Minimum 1 year

Other Qualifications : Proficiency with Epic EMR

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide full Interventional Cardiology coverage on weekends

Perform inpatient Cath Lab procedures as needed

Cover hospital's STEMI auto-accept program for regional patients

Consult with hospitalist and ICU teams for admitted patients

Collaborate with other employed and PSA cardiologists

Manage telephone call coverage with 30-minute response time

Work independently as the solo physician on coverage
